The new powertrain features a 2.5-litre SUBARU BOXER engine linked to a new hybrid transaxle while a lithium battery pack is mounted under the cargo area generating a net system power of 194 hp. The Forester e-BOXER Hybrid also features a 63-litre fuel tank, a next generation automatic start/stop system and regenerative braking system that will create even greater levels of efficiency.
