Based on Natural Resources Canada’s (NRCan) approved guidelines. Refer to NRCan’s Fuel Consumption Guide available at https://fcr-ccc.nrcan-rncan.gc.ca/en for more information. Full battery charge and ideal conditions are required. Figures will vary based, amongst others and non-exclusively, on driving and charging habits, speed, accessory use, weather and temperature, battery age, vehicle condition, road condition and other factors. In sub ideal conditions, figures may worsen by more than 50%. Battery capacity decreases with time and use which will further reduce range. See the owner’s manual or NRCan’s Fuel Consumption Guide for details.

Subaru Canada Sponsors Inaugural Sea Otter Canada Cycling Festival
23 May, 2019

(MISSISSAUGA, ONT.) — Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) is pleased to announce an agreement that will see the brand become the official automotive partner of the inaugural Sea Otter Canada cycling festival.

Set to take place July 4-7, 2019, at Ontario’s Blue Mountain Resort, just north of Toronto, the event will feature nine separate racing/riding events across a wide range of dirt and road categories, as well as an expo area featuring 100 cycling brands, bike demos, entertainment, craft breweries and food vendors.

“Cycling has long been synonymous with the Subaru brand,” said Geoff Craig, SCI’s Central Region director. “Events like Sea Otter Canada are an excellent way to showcase that synergy and connect with Subaru fans doing what they love.”

Sea Otter Canada is now the third such cycling festival globally, joining the original Sea Otter Classic, held each year in California, and Sea Otter Europe, which is entering its third year.

“We are proud to partner with Subaru Canada,” said Jesper Wahlberg, partner, Sea Otter Canada. “Subaru has a long history of supporting endurance sports and endurance athletes in Canada, especially in the triathlon space, so we are thrilled to have Subaru onboard as a valuable partner in the first ever Sea Otter Canada festival.”
