The all-new 2022 Subaru WRX features a completely redesigned exterior that reinforces all the power and performance hidden from view. The front grille is wider and more forceful. The iconic hood scoop is lower for improved visibility, but wider for increased airflow. The muscular wheel arches are more pronounced, creating a lower, wider and more powerful appearance overall. The piercing headlights, quad exhaust tips and LED-infused tail lights complete the appearance of this elite athlete.

Lightweight Aluminum Alloy Wheels

All the wheels available on the new WRX are engineered with ultimate performance in mind. The base model features summer performance tires mounted on lightweight 17-inch wheels with a gunmetal finish and 15 spokes. The WRX Sport and WRX Sport-tech models feature summer tires fitted to 18-inch 15-spoke wheels with a gunmetal finish. Every single wheel a winner.

Cutting-Edge Aerodynamics

The all-new WRX has been designed and engineered for superior aerodynamic performance—every crease, curve, angle and air outlet has a specific purpose. The net result is a uniquely sleek design that’s more efficient, quieter and better balanced than ever before, a shape that carves and coaxes the wind to maximum effect.

Auto ON/OFF LED Headlights

These standard headlights automatically turn on under low-light conditions and when the windshield wipers are activated, using a brighter, whiter beam for increased safety and convenience in all conditions. The automatic setting also ensures you never forget to turn off the lights when the key is removed from the ignition. The standard welcome lighting feature triggers the headlights and interior lights as you exit or get close to the car. The WRX Sport-tech also features steering responsive LED headlights.

Power-Adjustable Heated Mirrors

The side mirrors are designed for superior aerodynamic performance, foldable to prevent against damage when parked on the street and heated to keep the glass surface clear in cold conditions. The WRX Sport-tech and Sport-tech with EyeSight^® models also feature LED turn signals mounted on the mirrors.

LED Fog Lights

The multi-reflector LED fog lights slice through murky conditions, improve nighttime visibility and bring increased safety to all possible driving scenarios. It’s simple: The better your lighting technology, the more you see. These high-performance fog lights are available on the WRX Sport, Sport with EyeSight^®, Sport-tech and Sport-tech with EyeSight^®.

Integrated Crossbar Brackets

All versions of the all-new 2022 Subaru WRX feature standard integrated crossbar brackets. These convenient brackets allow roof racks to be quickly and easily installed, bringing added everyday versatility and weekend capability to this everyday sportscar. The roof rack system can accommodate everything from bicycles to snowboards and kayaks to cargo carriers.

Aerodynamic Rear Spoiler

In the development of the next-generation WRX, the engineers paid extra attention to improving aerodynamic performance, efficiency and downforce through any means possible. The new low-profile rear lip spoiler—available on the WRX Sport, Sport with EyeSight^®, Sport-tech and Sport-tech with EyeSight^®—fulfills the mandate and drives improved grip, handling and sheer tenacity.
