- Subaru Canada, Inc. reports its highest sales in company history with an incredible 46,609 units retailed, marking a year-to-date sales increase of 10.9 percent.
- Record-breaking December results with 3,372 units sold, an increase of 7.6 percent year over year, culminate in the Japanese automaker’s fourth consecutive year of annual sales growth.
(MISSISSAUGA) — Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) today reported a historic finish to 2015 with its highest annual sales ever. With a milestone 46,609 units delivered to Canadians this year, SCI closed the year with incredible year-to-date growth of 10.9 percent. December results propelled growth as sales rose by 7.6 percent with 3,372 units retailed this past month.
Milestone sales success was celebrated in all regions from coast to coast in December as Atlantic Canada was up 12.8 percent, Quebec was up 12.2 percent, Ontario was up 8.6 percent and Western Canada was up 0.4 percent.
Year to date, Subaru’s compact SUV, the Forester, was the brand’s volume leader with 12,706 units retailed, an increase of 3.3 percent. The Subaru Outback followed suit with 9,992 units retailed, stepping up sales by 15.0 percent over 2014. Subaru Crosstrek and Impreza sales were in close pursuit with 8,422 and 8,319 units sold, representing huge gains of 21.7 and 10.7 percent, respectively. Performance-driven WRX / STI sales also rose by 17.6 percent in 2015, accounting for 3,107 units year to date.
For the month of December, Forester, WRX / STI and Crosstrek all celebrated sales success with respective increases of 17.8, 26.1 and an extraordinary 71.6 percent.
