- The freshly redesigned Subaru Crosstrek achieved the highest sales growth in November, up 29.3%, followed by the legendary WRX STI, Forester compact SUV and the Impreza compact, up 27.8%, 21.5% and 5.7% respectively.
(MISSISSAUGA) — Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) is proud to announce its fourth annual sales record as November results contribute to unprecedented growth. Subaru Canada retailed a total of 3,739 units in the month of November, achieving a 5.6 percent increase when compared to the same month a year earlier. These November sales results have allowed the brand to surpass its previous annual sales record of 42,035 units. Current year-to-date results place SCI up 11.1 percent year to date with a total of 43,237 vehicle sales.
November sales records were celebrated in Subaru Canada’s Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic regions. Subaru Canada’s Ontario-based dealerships achieved a sales growth of 14.2 percent, while the Quebec and Atlantic regions grew by 3.5 and 5.1 percent respectively.
The recent launch of the redesigned 2016 Crosstrek provided a 29.3 percent growth, marking Subaru’s highest model increase year over year for the month. The sporty WRX STI line also had impressive results reaching 27.8 percent over last year. Third in growth for the month, and also the volume leader, was the Forester compact SUV which collected 1,097 sales and a 21.5 percent increase, while the Impreza compact was also up 5.7 percent.
