Based on Natural Resources Canada’s (NRCan) approved guidelines. Refer to NRCan’s Fuel Consumption Guide available at https://fcr-ccc.nrcan-rncan.gc.ca/en for more information. Full battery charge and ideal conditions are required. Figures will vary based, amongst others and non-exclusively, on driving and charging habits, speed, accessory use, weather and temperature, battery age, vehicle condition, road condition and other factors. In sub ideal conditions, figures may worsen by more than 50%. Battery capacity decreases with time and use which will further reduce range. See the owner’s manual or NRCan’s Fuel Consumption Guide for details.

(MISSISSAUGA) -Subaru Canada, Inc. today announced record February sales with an increase of 7.8 percent. With 1,902 units sold during the month, Subaru's Canadian sales have quickly surpassed the previous record for February results set just last year. Year-to-date results are also up by 7.4 percent, laying a strong foundation for 2012 to become Subaru's best year ever.
February's record month was bolstered by steep Impreza and WRX/STI sales. Both set new records in February as Impreza sales reached 684 units, up 54.8 percent over the same month last year, while WRX/STI sales rose by 18.4 percent over last February. Earlier in the month, the 2012 Subaru Impreza and WRX/STI were named Automotive Lease Guide's (ALG) Best Compact Car and Best Sporty Car, respectively, as Subaru was also named ALG's Best Mainstream Brand for the third year in a row.
"I'm very proud of our amazing sales performance," said Shiro Ohta, president and CEO of Subaru Canada, Inc. "Recent awards and accolades from ALG, Canadian Black Book and IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) will certainly help even more Canadians take notice of Subaru. Now Subaru has just earned the top spot in Consumer Reports automaker report cards for 2012, and this achievement will certainly help us build even more momentum throughout the year."
